Every three minutes, a neighbor raises their hand and asks for help. Behind each request is a story—a parent trying to stretch a grocery budget, a family navigating illness, or someone simply needing a reminder that they aren’t alone. These are uncertain times for so many. Yet, through Pasta For A Purpose, we come together to make sure that no family’s need for comfort goes unanswered. This is our moment to feed hope, fuel kindness, and strengthen community.
This year alone, Lasagna Love has received 86,000 requests for help. In just the last week of October, over 5,000 families reached out. Right now, families are waiting to be matched with a volunteer chef who can bring them relief through a warm meal and a moment of connection. Every hand raised is a call for hope. Every donation keeps us able to answer. It costs around $300,000 a year to keep our program running. Your gift makes that possible. Your kindness becomes the bridge that connects need to nourishment.

Here’s what kindness has accomplished this year through Lasagna Love:
86,000 lasagnas baked and delivered with love. 197,522 adults and 142,583 children fed at a time they needed it most. 63,988 volunteers showed up with open hearts and full pans. 14,801 new chefs joined our movement to spread care from their kitchens.
Each number represents a story of generosity. A ripple of kindness felt across our communities. Together, they prove that kindness still works, that connection still matters, and that we all have a part in this story.

One mom told us, “I didn’t know how to ask for help. But when I opened my door and saw that lasagna, I cried. It was sheer proof that someone cared about me. Our volunteers continue to buy ingredients, bake, and deliver from their own kitchens. They show up week after week because they believe in kindness. But they can’t do it alone. Your support keeps the lights on, the platform running, and the matches connecting. Without it, too many requests will go unanswered.
